“Save Sangam Vihar Campaign” : Ratia Marg  Citizens Meets South Delhi Mayor & Apprise Him on Civic Mess in Area

Ratia Marg Sangam Vihar Citizens delegation led by Ex Delhi MLA Vijay Jolly met South Delhi Mayor Narendra Chawla. Under “Save Sangam Vihar Campaign” they apprised him on the inhuman & civic conditions  prevailing in the area.

Sangam Vihar is the largest unauthorized poor citizens residential colony in South Delhi. The area main road ratia marg and mangal bazar roads are normally flooded by dirty sewerage water alleged Vijay Jolly. AAP MLA’s despite various reminders have done nothing during the past 3 years alleged Anand Gupta – President – Ratia Marg Vyapar Mandal. The business has also come to a standstill due to filth all around and sewerage water on main roads.

KSK Academy School Administrator Sardar Narinder Singh Chahal with nearly 3500 children in his school stated in his complaint to the Mayor that there are 40000 school going children in Ratia Marg who are the worst sufferers. Every day they travel thru muddy broken roads. But no one listens to them.

Mayor South Delhi Narendra Chawla assured Ex-MLA Vijay Jolly that additional MCD staff shall be deployed in the area. Mayor also assured that along with MCD staff he would visit Sangam Vihar and himself take stock of the conditions. But he also asked the Ratia Marg delegation to take up the issue with Delhi Govt to develop Sangam Vihar, provide pucca roads and solve its ongoing water scarcity problems permanently.

The other prominent members included in the delegation were namely: Sardar N.K. Chahal, Anand Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Vinit Gupta, Mukesh Gupta, Mukesh Singhal, Raman Goel & Dinesh Giri.
